POPZ Production GmbH was founded in Berlin in 2026. The company unites every step a garment takes, from the first idea to the parcel that arrives at a retailer or a private customer.
Our atelier on Voigtstraße in Berlin-Friedrichshain is the centre of the business. Collections are designed, patterned, sampled and sewn here; fabrics come from Italian mills, prints are realised with specialist printers in Italy, and further production runs are sewn by partner workshops there. Every finished piece returns to Berlin, where it is checked, packed and dispatched.
Since October 2026, POPZ Production GmbH has held the exclusive worldwide licence for Maldire, the dancewear label established in 2015. We produce the brand’s collections and sell them through its online store and to retail partners in Europe, Asia and North America.
Maldire is our first brand, not our only field of work. POPZ also develops and produces for other clients, and we intend to add further brands and projects.
The conception, development and manufacture of textiles and accessories, the distribution of these products to commercial and private customers, and the provision of related services.
Milestones
From label to production house.
The dancewear label Maldire is established and begins to build an international following among dancers and performers.
POPZ Production GmbH is founded in Berlin and entered in the commercial register. The atelier on Voigtstraße is equipped for in-house production.
POPZ Production GmbH takes over the development, manufacturing and worldwide distribution of Maldire under an exclusive licence.
